For more than 40 years, the National AREA Scholarship Program has helped the sons and daughters of our Exchange family pursue their dreams through higher education. What began in 1985 as a commitment to invest in the future has grown into a program that has awarded over $1 million in scholarships to hundreds of deserving students wishing to continue their education.
The success of this program is made possible by one thing—the generosity of donors like you.
Unlike many charitable programs, 100% of every tax-deductible donation made to the National AREA Scholarship Fund goes directly to the scholarship program. No donations are used for administrative expenses. Every dollar supports scholarships and helps strengthen the fund that makes future awards possible.
The Scholarship Fund is carefully invested to generate earnings that help continue to provide scholarships year after year. Those investments are the foundation of the program’s long-term success. Without ongoing contributions, the fund cannot maintain the level of scholarships our Exchange families have come to depend on.
Today, students face increasing tuition, fees, books, tools, equipment, and other educational expenses. Whether a graduate is pursuing a four-year degree, attending a community college, or entering a skilled trade through vocational training, financial assistance can make the difference between postponing a dream and achieving it.
