For more than four decades, the National AREA Scholarship Program has opened doors for the children of active Exchange associates and assigned military personnel. What began as a simple idea—to help promising students reach their educational goals—has grown into a proud tradition of support, opportunity, and hope.

Each year, National AREA strives to award scholarships to graduating high school seniors preparing to attend accredited colleges, universities, trade schools, or U.S. military academies. Beginning in2026, additional scholarships will be offered to students attending trade schools, expanding opportunities for young people pursuing a variety of educational and career paths.
